Charges incurred for your health care are considered the responsibility of the patient and/or the person listed as the appropriate responsible party. Patients and/or their appropriately designated guarantors are ultimately responsible for resolution of the bill for services rendered. Should the need arise, financial counselors are available to discuss charges incurred for services received while at Seton Medical Center Hays.
IPP - Initial Payment Program
Every effort is made to determine the source and extent of all possible payment sources, including both third-party coverage and the amount for which patients assume personal responsibility. Seton Medical Center Hays accepts most insurance plans. All deductibles, copays and/or co-insurances are due at the time of service. Insured patients that present evidence of insurance coverage will have benefits verified. Our financial counselors will work closely with patients to determine their portion of responsibility.
When Seton Medical Center Hays is as an out-of-network provider, Admitting may provide you with a list of other facilities that are in the network per your insurance. If a procedure is to be done here at Seton Medical Center Hays, and it has been identified that we are out of network, payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, check, travelers check and all major credit cards for payments.
