Cardiology testing includes stress testing, cardiac ultrasound, echocardiograms, cardioversion and EKG monitoring. These tests are used to determine heart disease and disorders.
A mobile Children’s Care-a-Van will bring health care services directly to children in schools, day care centers and other locations. The Care-a-Van, actually a specially outfitted recreational vehicle, is staffed by a nurse practitioner, RN and admission representative. The Emergency Department offers a complete range of services for all types of medical emergencies for both children and adults. It is staffed 24 hours a day with physicians and nurses specializing in emergency medicine. Upon arrival, the patient’s condition is assessed by a triage nurse, and life-threatening injuries/illnesses will be seen first.
Home Health Services
Caring for a patient at home has obvious advantages such as reducing the costs of the care and the convenience of receiving care in your home rather than in the hospital. Services available include nursing care, physical therapy, medical social services, chemotherapy services and home health aide services.
Department is available to help the terminally ill patient and their family maintain personal dignity and enhance the quality of life as they cope with the dying process. Hospice offers medical care in a life-affirming atmosphere as an alternative to hospitalization.
Our full service clinical laboratory offers a complete range of clinical testing using the latest methods in chemistry, hematology and microbiology. The professional staff includes a board certified pathologist and registered medical technologists.
Medical/Surgical Nursing Unit
This Nursing Unit provides treatment to all medical/surgical patients who are acutely ill or in various stages of recovery. This unit is staffed with RN’s, LVN’s and CNA’s – all under the supervision of an RN Nurse Manager.
Our Licensed Physical Therapists assistants provide individualized physical therapy services to inpatients and outpatients. Treatment may include mobilizing stiff joints tissue, exercise stretching, heat or ice, electrical stimulation, massage and wound care.
Provides full range of services from routine radiographic procedures to specialty diagnostic imaging technology. We offer CAT Scanning Scanning (including Heart Healthy CT and Lung Healthy CT), Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, Echocardiography, Vascular Imaging, MRI, Bone Densitometry and Mammography. Under supervision board certified radiologists, the department offers regularly scheduled and emergency services 24 hours per day.
Special Care Unit
SCU treats seriously and critically ill patients with potentially life-threatening conditions. Surgical patients are sometimes kept in SCU for observation and treatment.
Our surgical suites offer the capabilities for surgeons to perform a wide variety of emergency and elective surgeries, including general surgery, gynecological surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology surgery and urological surgery. The pre-op and post-op areas are consolidated as well as Same Day Care and Endoscopy. The professional staff consists of registered nurses and certified scrub technicians.
