Vanessa Jones Yium, M.D.

Bio

Dr. Vanessa Yium is thrilled to be in practice with Women Partners in Health.  She is an Austin native who went to Colorado College for her undergraduate education with a bachelor's in history.  She then received her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  Dr. Yium completed her OB/GYN residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, where she received several awards including: intern of the year, the award for medical student teaching, and Chief Resident.  She enjoyed private practice in Dallas for two years before returning home to Austin once her husband finished his residency training.
