James B. Williams,M.D., practices with Austin Cardiovascular Assoicates and has specific interests in consultative cardiology, all aspects of non-invasive cardiology, cardiovascular imaging -- including treadmill exercise testing, stress echo cardiology, pharmacologic stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac catherization, interventional cardiology, cardiac pacing, critical care, medical legal consulting.Dr. Williams followed his medical school education at Louisiana State University Medical Center with a medical internship and residnecy at the University of California. His cardiology fellowship was at the University of California and Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Dr. Williams is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a member of several professional/societal organizations, has served as an instructor at Louisianna State University Medical School and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
