Dr. Tipton is a Fellowship trained Board-certified Orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Tipton specializes in lumbar spine surgery. A native Austinite and son of a physician, Dr. Tipton has practiced medicine in Austin since 1983. He co-founded the Spine and Rehabilitation Center in 1994 because he saw an opportunity to improve spine care delivery.
