Karen G. Swenson, M.D.

Bio

Karen Swenson, M.D., earned a B.S. in Nutrition Science with highest honors from the University of California, Davis in 1976. She received her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, graduating in 1981. In 1985, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where she was appointed Administrative Chief Resident. She was board certified by the ACOG in 1987. Swenson is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and an active member of the American Medical Women's Association, the Texas Medical Association and Foundation, the Texas OB/GYN Society, the Travis County Medical Society, and the Austin OB/GYN Society. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted.
