Bio
Dr. Smith attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock and El Paso. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at York Hospital in York, PA, which was one of the first five pilot family medicine programs in the country. There, she was chosend Chief Resident. De. Smith grew up in Austin, attending Highland Park Elementary, St. Andrew's Episcopal School, and McCallum High school before completing a degree in English at the University of Texas at Austin. She also completed a Master's degree in theological studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA prior to attending medical school. She is thrilled to be back in her wonderful hometown where she enjoys the company of her family as well as the fantastic live music scene in Austin....
