Yue (Jason) Shen, MD

Bio

Dr. Shen, epileptologist, is a board-certified neurologist who is also board-certified in clinical neurophysiology. He did his neurology and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Utah. He is an assistant professor at the University of Texas Southwestern and Texas Medical Branch.

He evaluates and treats adult patients with seizures and epilepsy and specializes in providing pre-surgical evaluation for those patients who may benefit from epilepsy surgery. Dr. Shen is a caring physician who always considers the patient’s quality of life and goals in treatment of care. He practices a multidisciplinary approach, from thorough evaluation and testing throughoperative and post-operative care.

He is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Shen has been with Seton Brain & Spine since 2007.
