Bio
Dr. Ronald B. Shapiro was born in Charlotte, N.C. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at Indiana University Medical Center. His postgraduate fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology was completed at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Shapiro began Pediatric Cardiology of Austin in August 2001.
Dr. Shapiro is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology and the Society of Pediatric Echocardiography....
