Julie Isabel Sanchez, M.D.

Bio

Dr. Julie Sanchez was born in Merida, Mexico and grew up in Houston. A graduate of UT-Austin, she was active in public education and Hispanic organizations. She attended UT-Southwestern medical school and completed a General Surgery residency and a Pediatric Surgery fellowship at SUNY-Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Sanchez also completed a Pediatric Trauma and Research Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. Since her return to Austin, she has been the guiding force in the founding of the Austin Chapter of the Injury Free Coalition for Kids, as well as serving as the lead physician for the Austin Safe Kids Coalition. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Pediatric Surgery.

Dr. Sanchez's offices are located in Austin, Round Rock and San Marcos, and hours are M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted, and new patients are welcome.
