Peggy M. Russell, D.O.

Bio

With the perspective of one whose career has focused on the care of older patients, Peggy M. Russell, DO, took on the complex role of medical director of the SETON Community Care Network in February 1996. Dr. Russell serves Austin's geriatric community not only through SETON and her internal medicine practice, but also as medical director of three area nursing homes. She is certified by the Council of the American Medical Directors Association and is certified in geriatrics by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Russell has served as consultant to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and the Texas Medical Foundation. She currently chairs the Texas Medical Association's Ad Hoc Committee on Home Health and the association's Committee on Aging and Long-Term Care.
