Charlie P. Ross, M.D.

Bio

Charlie P. Ross, MD, FACS, joined Texas Surgical Group after serving as President and Surgeon of the Austin Surgical Clinic Association. Dr. Ross formerly served as Brackenridge Hospital’s Chief of Surgery and was on the Medical Executive Committee.

He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed both his internship and residency in general surgery, as well as a residency in thoracic surgery, at Indiana University. Dr. Ross also has participated in numerous research activities throughout his career.

Dr. Ross is board-certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, Southern Thoracic Surgical Society, Texas Surgical Society and was elected Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

In his spare time, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his wife, Coni, and with his children, Rebecca, Amanda and Rose.
