Patricia Rosen, M.D.

Dr. Rosen has provided over 30 years of service to the community, including serving as the medical director of the Central Texas Poison Center from 1992 to 1997. She received her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University of Public Health and her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio.  She is board certified in Medical Toxicology, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine.

Medical Toxicology is a medical subspecialty focusing on the diagnosis, management and prevention of poisoning and other adverse health effects due to medications, occupational and environmental toxins, and biological agents.  Dr. Rosen has been practicing medical toxicology since 1992 and is board certified in Medical Toxicology through the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Wellness for Workers which provides preventive medical services to companies and individuals consistent with the recommendations of the American College of Preventive Medicine and Occupational Medicine.  She is a member of the Health and Productivity Committee of ACOEM.

In her spare time Dr. Rosen is an accomplished triathlete, a sport that she began at age 48.  She believes that adopting habits of healthy living can delay the onset of illness and improve the quality of life. "The correct mixture of proper diet, exercise and stress management will give you what you need to live not only a long life but a healthy life."
