Ross F. Prochnow, M.D.

Bio

Following undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in biochemistry, Dr. Prochnow received his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 1980. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. In 1988, he moved to Austin joining Austin Regional Clinic. Dr. Prochnow is board certified in Pediatrics and elected Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 1986. He believes keeping current in the pediatric field is critical to good practice and puts in over 150 hours a year of continuing medical education. Dr. Prochnow considers "watching children grow and develop is special..." He is married and has 5 children.
