Bio
Dr. Parker graduated first in his class from the University of Health Sciences. He was recognized as the most outstanding resident at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and performed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington, D.C. He also has a fellowship in Medical Research from the Walter Reed Institute of Research. Dr. Parker served on the teaching faculty for medical students and residents during his years in the military where he was recognized as teacher of the year twice. He is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Parker has published in several medical textbooks and medical journals. His areas of interest include autoimmune diseases, arthritis, bone diseases, inflammatory eye diseases and patient education. Dr. Parker is part of the largest Rheumatology group in Austin at Austin Diagnostic Clinic (ADC). ADC is a prestigious large multispecialty group with nearly all medical and surgical specialties that stresses ideal comprehensive medical care.
