Ephraim Emmanuel Nsien, MD

Dr. Ephraim Nsien is Board Certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University with a degree in Chemistry, followed by his medical degree from Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine, and was fellowship trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from George Washington University Hospital, Washington DC.

Before starting his practice “Digestive Center Associates, PLLC” in Austin - Dr. Nsien was Medical Director of JPS Healthcare in Fort Worth, TX, and prior to that he held several academic positions as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Gastroenterology with Scott & White, and George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates. Dr. Nsien was also President and Founder of, Eastern Digestive Diseases Center, Inc. his private practice in Washington, DC.

Dr. Nsien has special interest in Colorectal cancer screening, Capsule Endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, Hepatitis B and C as well as preventive health and patient education. Dr. Nsien loves Austin’s Hill country scenery, and enjoys traveling, watching UT Sports and spending time with his wife Patricia, and two son’s.
