Michael Lynn Nix, M.D.

Dr. Michael Nix joined the faculty of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of the Austin Medical Education Programs in August 2002. Dr. Nix attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1994. He went to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, TX. In 1998 he started his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital, also in Dallas, TX, where he graduated in June 2002. Dr. Nix recently moved to the Austin area and will see patients and teach residents and medical students at Brackenridge Hospital. He also will see patients in his private practice "Capital Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates" located in the Professional Office Building near Brackenridge Hospital. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
