Michael Lynn Nix, MD

Bio

Michael Nix, MD, is proud to be able to provide quality obstetric and gynecological care to women in Central Texas. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and stayed with UTSW to complete residency at Dallas’ Parkland Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Nix’s professional interests include cervical dysplasia, human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, operative obstetrics, and patient safety and quality improvement.

Dr. Nix enjoys the beauty of Austin’s hills, lakes, climate and people. In his spare time, Dr. Nix likes to cook, play tennis and go waterskiing.
