Dr. Deepa Mittal joined the faculty of the Internal Medicine department of the Austin Medical Education Programs in March 2002. Dr. Mittal attended the LLRM Medical College, affiliated with Meerut University in India, where she also completed her internship in Internal Medicine in 1994. In 1998 she started her Internal Medicine residency with the Austin Medical Education Programs (formerly Central Texas Medical Foundation) at Brackenridge Hospital, where she graduated in June 2001. Dr. Mittal will be caring for hospitalized patients and participating in the training of Internal Medicine residents and medical students. Dr. Mittal is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
