Dr.Jim McNabb, a board certified opthalmologist at the Cataract & Eye Center, has been taking care of eyes in Austin since 1973. He received his medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Texas' oldest medical school. While Dr.McNabb does complete eye care from glaucoma treatment to all types of contact lenses, his special interest is in making his patients see well without glasses following cataract eye surgery or refractive surgery. Dr.McNabb has successfully performed refractive surgery since 1981. With the advent of Excimer PRK, even more patients are now able to have better vision. Even patients in their bifocal years are able to be almost free of glasses, distance and near. The Cataract Eye Center is conveniently located near Seton Hospital at 40th and Medical Parkway at 1101 West 40th St. Ample parking is right at the front door. Most insurances are accepted....
