Joseph M.C. Leary, M.D.

Dr. Leary graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 1984. He attended The University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio and graduated in 1988. Dr. Leary received his post-graduate training at Northwetern University from 1988-1993. His residency experience included training at Chicago's Children's Hospital, Cook County Hospital, as well as the Northwestern University hospitals. 

He has been in practice in Austin since 1993. His practice includes general adult and pediatric Otolaryngology. Areas of practice include nasal, sinus, thyroid, salivary gland, and ear surgeries as well as head and neck tumors. He operates at Seton Medical Center, Seton Northwest Hospital, and Children's Hospital of Austin.

Dr. Leary is board certified in Otolaryngology by The American Board of Otolaryngology. He has served on the Seton Northwest Hospital Medical Executive Committee. Medical volunteer activities include trips to Central America with Austin Smiles. Dr. Leary participates in Project Access, the St. Luke's Clinic program, and the Sertoma hearing screening program providing local charity care. He and his wife have five children.
