Bio
Dr. Matthew Geck has devoted his career to caring for patients with scoliosis, kyphosis, and complex spinal problems. He has the largest spinal deformity practice in Central Texas, with over 10 years of experience treating scoliosis and kyphosis in children, adolescents, and adults. He has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques to treat scoliosis as well as a reputation for treating the most complex spinal deformities, including failed surgeries. In his day-to-day practice, Dr. Geck strives to achieve a patient-focused and family-centered medical care environment. The goal is to put patients and their families at the center of the health care experience.
Dr. Geck has performed two spine fellowships in both adult and pediatric spine surgery, is involved in a global outreach 501c3 called SpineHope, is an active member of the Scoliosis Research Society and its Global Outreach committee, and is a member of the Complex Spine Study Group. He has performed over 1500 spine operations in practice, and he takes care of patients from all over the United States and Latin America in his practice at the Seton Spine & Scoliosis Center in Austin, Texas.
