Carl D. Frank, MD

Dr. Frank graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biology.  He then went on to complete his medical degree, internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas at Houston.  He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology through a combined program with the University of Texas at Houston and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. 

He is published in recognized medical journals and has presented at multiple meetings both locally and nationally.  

He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His affiliations include the American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. 

Dr. Frank is a 4th generation Texan. He is married with a family.  He enjoys live music, sports, and the outdoors.

He joined Austin Gastroenterology in 2006.  He offices in Georgetown and works in all Williamson County hospitals.
