Robert Stephen Crumb, MD

Bio

Robert Crumb, MD, is a general Obstetrician and Gynecologist. After attending high school in Jakarta, Indonesia, he completed his B.S. in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University. He then graduated with his M.D. from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He then fulfilled a National Health Service Corp Scholarship obligation in Colorado, where he was faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In 2003, Dr. Crumb moved to Austin and was in private practice for several years while participating as a residency faculty member part time. In January 2008, he joined the University of Texas Physicians as full-time faculty.

Dr. Crumb has always had a strong interest in medical education. He has received numerous teaching awards and is a member of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society. Dr. Crumb recently completed his master's degree in Public Health and is interested in research in medical cost effectiveness.

His clinical practice includes all aspects of general Obstetrics and Gynecology including High-Risk Pregnancy and challenging issues in Gynecology.

In his free time Dr. Crumb enjoys spending time with his wife and two school-aged sons.
