Bio

Jadranko Corak, MD, FACP, specializes in internal medicine and maintaining the health of your entire family. In 1997, Dr. Corak started his residency with the Central Texas Medical Foundation (now University of Texas Medical Branch Austin Programs) at the University Medical Center at Brackenridge. After completing his residency, Dr. Corak served as the Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Program from 2000 to 2001.

Dr. Corak attended the Medical School of Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and completed an internal medicine residency at University Clinical Center in Sarajevo from 1987-1994. Dr. Corak was the senior research scientist at the UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Simmons Cancer Center. Dr. Corak has received a variety of honors and awards, including being named Teacher of the Year in the Internal Medicine Program at the Austin Medical Education Programs. He also serves as Co-Director of the UMC Brackenridge’s Coumadin Clinic.

He enjoys living in such a family-friendly, cultural city like Austin. Dr. Corak spends a lot of time with his wife and children enjoying the outdoors. When he’s not working, you can find him running, playing basketball, traveling or enjoying photography.
