Cathy Ann Castillo, MD

Dr. Castillo grew up in the small south Texas town of Beeville. She received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University and her graduate degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Houston. She lived in Southern California for five years and completed her residency program there. After completing her residency program, Dr. Castillo worked in urgent care in California for two years before moving back to Texas. She loves living in Hutto and being so close to Austin, and looks forward to a long career here.

 “I prefer to promote prevention. I like to address problems early on and head on so that we can avoid problems down the road. I am interested in treating diabetes. It is a very big problem in my family so I have personally seen its effects."
