Sarah Buttrey, M.D.

Bio

A native Austinite, Dr. Buttrey is a family practitioner with the Seton Family of Doctors. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She continued her education at the University of Texas at Austin, aiming to meet her medical school prerequisites. Dr. Buttrey earned a medical degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Additionally, Dr. Buttrey studied at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her residency at the University Health System in San Antonio with a focus on outpatient care.

Dr. Buttrey is a member of the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, Health Care for All Texans, Physicians for Social Responsibility, Physicians for Human Rights, Physicians for a National Health Program, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Buttrey is fluent in both Spanish and English.
