Bridget Marie Brady, MD

Dr. Brady is board-certified in general surgery. She has a strong interest in endocrine surgery, including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal procedures. Since completing her endocrine surgery fellowship in Germany, she has been performing many advanced endocrine procedures in Austin, including minimally invasive thyroid surgery that requires a much smaller incision than traditional surgery. Dr. Brady also focuses on advanced laparoscopic procedures and on the surgical treatment of cancer, including cancer of the breast, head and neck, and colon. In addition, she performs the Lap-Band procedure to treat morbid obesity and its related conditions.

After graduating with honors from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School, Dr. Brady completed her General Surgery Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She earned her B.A. with honors in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Brady is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Texas Medical Association, and a member of the Travis County Medical Society. To enhance her skills in treating endocrine system conditions, Dr. Brady completed an Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at the Marburg University Medical Center in Germany in 2006.

An Austin native, Dr. Brady enjoys taking advantage of our area's outdoor activities by waterskiing, swimming, and running. She is also an avid traveler.
