Bio
Dr. Akin holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas. He attended Medical School at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and went on to complete his residency at Parkland Hospital. He is Board Certified in Gynecology by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has been in private practice in Austin since 1983. He is a member of numerous medical organizations, including the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society....
