Dr. Edward Wright is a board certified pediatric rehabilitation medicine physician with Dell Children’s Medical Center. He received his medical degree at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed a combined residency program in the Departments of Pediatrics and Rehabilitation Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Wright has held several academic and clinical appointments, published numerous research articles and abstracts, and served the community through various organizations, such as Special Olympics, Bureau of Special Health Care Needs, and United Cerebral Palsy of Missouri.
Dr. Wright was selected Physician Teacher of the Year by resident physicians, 1995-96 and 2000-2001 while at the University of Missouri. He has appeared in the annual publication, Best Doctors, as one of the best doctors in his field for almost ten years.
Dr. Wright is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Medical Association and American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. He enjoys serving a wide range of children with physical disabilities, both congenital and acquired.
