Dr. Vaisman received his medical degree from the Universidad Catolica de Cordoba in Argentina. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical School, Houston, TX, and his cardiology fellowship at Texas Heart Institute-St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he received honors and served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology also at Texas Heart Institute, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
Dr. Vaisman has a special interest in coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, nuclear and CT imaging and preventative cardiology. Dr. Vaisman previously served as Vice Chair, Cardiology Board with Doctors Hospital at Renaissance and Board of Directors for Echocardiography Society of Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Vaisman is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
