Kamran Shaikh, MD

Dr. Shaikh is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. Following a general Cardiovascular fellowship at Henry Ford Heart and Vascular Institute in Detroit, Michigan, he returned to Houston for advanced imaging fellowships in both Echocardiography and Cardiovascular MRI, both at The Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Shaikh has experience in research with several published manuscripts. He is a member of American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, and Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, as well as the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. His special interests include advanced imaging, specifically Cardiovascular MRI, which he believes has the ability to significantly impact and improve patient care.
Dr. Shaikh currently serves as the Director of Cardiovascular MRI of the Seton Family of Hospitals, as well as, the Director of the Non-Invasive Laboratory at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, Texas.
