Dr. R. Lowell McRoberts earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
He currently serves as the Medical Director for Integrated Psychiatric Care as well as the Fellowship Director for the Psychosomatics Program. He practices consult-liaison psychiatry for the Seton Mind Institute.
Dr. McRoberts holds appointments as Assistant Professor University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Clinical Assistant Professor Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor University of Texas Medical Branch.
The psychiatry residents voted him 2008 Teacher of the Year and 2009 Attending of the Year. He was also he was named 2011-2012 Faculty Member of the Year from The University of Texas Medical Branch
Dr. McRoberts is board certified in Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
