Michelle Magid, MD
Board certified in psychiatry
Dr. Michelle Magid received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Boston University. She completed her residency program in psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where she also received specialized training in electroconvulsive therapy. Dr. Magid has won various awards for her dedication to the field of psychiatry, including the Laughlin Fellowship, the George Ginsberg Fellowship and the Brain and Behavior Young Investigator Research Grant.
Dr. Magid holds appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Clinical Assistant Professor Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor University of Texas Medical Branch.
She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, and is currently involved in resident education and mood disorder research. Dr. Magid serves as Assistant Professor for the University of Texas Southwestern and the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr. Magid is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
