Dr. Lisa Madsen earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and French from the University of Iowa. She received her medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She completed the psychiatric residency program at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Madsen holds appointments as Assistant Professor University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Clinical Assistant Professor Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor University of Texas Medical Branch.
She provides outpatient care and supervises psychiatry residents at the Seton Mind Institute. She is interested in psychodynamic psychotherapy for mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Madsen is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
