Seton's Versant RN Residency Application Requirements

Seton offers 3 RN Residency opportunities a year; February, June and October.  For current cohort start date, please refer to the Versant Online Application.  We will be accepting applications until the positions are filled.

All application materials must be received in Seton’s Versant office before your application will be considered.

GN Application Checklist (without RN license)

  • Complete Seton's Versant RN Residency Online Application
  • Must have a TEXAS GN permint. Out -of-state GN permits not accepted.
  • Résumé
  • Career and Goal Statements
  • Two Faculty Reference Forms from clinical instructors
  • Confirmation of scheduled NCLEX® Review course
    (Completion prior to Cohort start date)
  • Current College Transcript
    • Unofficial transcript must have student name and lists all courses
    • 3.0 GPA or higher in nursing curriculum is preferred
    • If GPA is below 3.0 you must submit a third Faculty Reference Form
    • Provide date when FINAL transcript will be available
    • Fax FINAL transcript when available

RN Application Checklist

  • Complete the Seton’s Versant RN Residency Online Application
  • Less than one year of experience as a registered nurse
  • Fax current Texas RN license, compact state RN license, or temporary Texas RN license
  • Résumé
  • Career and Goal Statements
  • Two Faculty Reference Forms from clinical instructors (Professional references accepted)
