Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. SETON offers employees an option to purchase AD&D, which provides a benefit for loss of life or limb due to an accident. Employee may choose to cover self and dependents.
Benefit Enrollment Credits
Provided only to those full-time/part-time employees who actually elect benefits coverage through SETON. Enrollment Credits are allocated specifically for medical, dental and short-term disability/long-term disability if applicable.
Dependent Care Spending Account
Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. Employees may choose to set aside money on a pretax basis through payroll deduction to pay for eligible childcare, care of an elderly or disabled family member and health care expenses.
Group Life Insurance
Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. SETON automatically provides core life insurance equal to one times annual salary up to $500,000 with minimum coverage of $15,000 at no cost to employees.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Full-time/Part-time. Accrual of hours per pay period based on hours paid and length of service. SETON also provides PTO for funeral leave, jury duty and military leave.
SETON Health Plan
Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. The SETON Healthcare Network offers comprehensive medical coverage to all full and part-time employees and eligible family members through a choice of three plans. The basic vision plan thru VSP is included with medical.
VSP
Voluntary buy-up vision plan is an enhancement to basic vision plan, employees may choose only if medical plans are elected. Coverage options for self and dependents.
Dental Plans
Delta Dental Plan and Assurant Dental – Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. Dorsey Dental Discount Service – All employees. A choice of three dental options for self and dependents.
Disability Insurance
Long-Term Disability Insurance – Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. Benefit levels equal to 60% or 70% of base earnings after 90-day elimination period. SETON provides core Long-Term Disability coverage free of charge to the Leadership Team and full-time employees with more than 10 years of service.
Short-Term Disability Insurance Full-time/Part-time benefit-eligible employees. Short-term disability is provided free of charge as a core benefit to income-eligible employees. The primary purpose of short-term disability insurance is to replace a percentage of income that is lost when an illness or injury temporarily prevents you from working.
Retirement Plans
All SETON employees are eligible. Participation is automatic on January 1st of the calendar year in which you complete 1,000 hours of service. You earn 1 year of vesting service when you have completed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. You are vested after you earn 5 years of vesting service (that is, after you work at least 1, 000 hours in each of 5 years).
403(b) Retirement Savings Plan - SETON employees are eligible to participate thru Diversified Investment Advisors. The plan is offered to give you a convenient and efficient way to do your part in reaching your own personal retirement well-being.
Employer Match - SETON contributes $.35 for every dollar contributed up to 5% of salary. Employees will be immediately vested in all SETON matching contributions made after January 1st, 2005. (Matching contributions made prior to January 1st, 2005 will remain in the employee's defined benefit plan and subject to the 5 year vesting requirement).
