Nursing in a Changing Healthcare Environment

No cost.
This workshop has presentations of interest to any nurse. Topics include: literature review in nursing, using caring language in healthcare, relationship based care, effective discharge planning, change in healthcare, and cultural differences in healthcare. Up to 6.5 contact hours will be awarded.


Seton Healthcare Family is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Training for the Nurse Preceptor

To introduce the Seton nurse to the responsibilities of preceptors, evidence based and best practices, adult learning principles, and other tools that should be used to plan and implement the orientation and socialization of new Seton nurses.

Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC)

Network: $150 Network/Nonnetwork: $250 Pre-registration Required
The TNCC provider course is designed to provide core level knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing to the trauma patient.
