Teresa Burroff joined the Seton Family of Hospitals in 2007 as general counsel. She provides legal advice and oversight of the legal team associated with the representation of Seton’s 10 acute care hospitals and other facilities in Central Texas. Previously she served as general council for Samsung Austin Semiconductor, where she represented the company in international mediations and provided oversight of all legal work associated with the building of a $3.5 billion new fabrication facility.

Teresa has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University. She has completed all the requirements except for the dissertation for her PhD at The University of Texas at Austin. She is past president of the Travis County Bar Corporate Counsel Section and past president of the Austin Chapter – Association of Corporate Counsel; former vice president of Extend A Care, a non-profit organization founded in Austin devoted to the after-school care of children; former volunteer and Certified Official with South Texas Swimming, a non-profit organization devoted to enhancing athletic participation in Central Texas swimming; and a former Austin Junior Forum Advisory Board Member.
