Sister Teresa George, D.C. now President and Chief Operating Officer of Dell Children's Medical Center has served in a leadership role of Seton's Children's Health Ministry since 2005. She worked in healthcare financial management for over fifteen years at a variety of Daughter of Charity facilities including University Medical Center at Brackenridge, Seton Northwest, DePaul Health Center in St. Louis, Centro San Vicente in El Paso, and DePaul Family Center in San Antonio. Prior to joining the Daughters of Charity, Sr. Teresa began her professional career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse in San Antonio. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from New York University, a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University – New Orleans, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Baylor University. Sr. Teresa currently serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin, is an avid volunteer with Austin Habitat for Humanity, and serves on the Finance Council for Ascension Health. In addition, Sr. Teresa, a Daughter of Charity for twenty-five years, has served on numerous committees for the Daughters of Charity, and currently serves on their Finance Council.
