Dr. Renu Mohandas has 18 years of experience in the health care field. She currently works as a full-time solo internist in a busy practice that she owns in Lockhart, Texas, where she has been for the last 10 years. She also functions as a hospitalist at the Seton Edgar B Davis Hospital in Luling, Texas. She served as the medical director for the Golden Age Nursing Home in Lockhart for six years.
Dr. Mohandas completed her medical school studies at the Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, India. She has had extensive experience in community based medicine and has worked in the fields of leprosy, tuberculosis and preventive medicine in rural India.
She graduated from the internal medicine residency program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
