Patrick Garcia, MD, joined the Seton Family of Hospitals in 1996. Before taking his current position, he served as Medical Director for Seton Southwest and Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Garcia graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University, and attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency with the Central Texas Medical Foundation (now University of Texas Physicians, Central Texas) at University Medical Center Brackenridge where he became Chief Resident and then an attending physician.

Dr. Garcia also served more than eight years as the director of University of Texas Physicians, Central Texas Transitional Residency Program. Dr. Garcia currently serves on a number of medical- and community-based committees.
