Larry Mejia returned to Seton Healthcare Family in July 2013 to assume leadership of Seton Healthcare Family's services in Smithville and its associated facilities: Seton RiverBend Home Health, Seton Health Plaza-Bastrop, Seton Physical Therapy and Fitness Center-Bastrop and Towers Nursing Home.

Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of Daughters of Charity Services of San Antonio, an Ascension Health Ministry, where he worked since March 2000.

Larry has been a part of the Daughters of Charity Health System (now Ascension Health) for more than 24 years. He has more than 25 years of experience in health and human service organizations.

Larry served as Director of Community Health Services for Seton Family of Hospitals from 1995 to 2000. Before that, Larry was site manager for the Seton East Community Health Center from 1990 to 1995.

He earned both his Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and Master of Business Administration degree from Texas State University. He is a graduate of Ascension Health's Formation for Catholic Healthcare Ministry Leadership program. Larry is also an alumnus of the Leadership Austin program.
