Ken Gladish is a nationally recognized leader in charitable and philanthropic endeavors. Immediately prior to joining Seton, Ken served as president and CEO of the Austin Community Foundation. Ken's distinguished career includes serving as president of the YMCA of the USA and in various academic leadership roles in Michigan and Indiana, including serving as a distinguished professor of Nonprofit Studies and director of the Grantmaking School at the Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership in Grand Rapids, Mich.
He has led organizations that have raised more than $500 million in charitable support and has been intimately engaged in creating campaigns, seeding new initiatives and serving as a key resource in endowment, capital and annual support campaigns.
Ken holds an undergraduate degree from Hanover College; master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Virginia; and several honorary doctoral degrees.
