Kate Henderson is the vice president and chief operating officer of University Medical Center Brackenridge (UMCB). Kate joined Seton in 2007 as vice president of Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services. She led several multidisciplinary network performance improvement initiatives that have helped Seton achieve outstanding operational/quality results and fiscal stewardship. Previously she was an administrative fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation; a Health Services administrator in Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Iowa Health Care, and director of Radiology Services at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. She holds a Bachelor's degree in biology from Iowa State University and a Masters of Health Administration from the University of Iowa. She is a member of the Central Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a graduate of the Leadership Seton Executive Training program.
