Seton Medical Center Hays

Due to his strategic leadership, SMCH, the largest medical facility in Hays County, opened months ahead of schedule. Mr. Dyer is responsible for effectively managing and operating the 112-licensed bed acute care facility, including projecting the ministry's financial assets, ensuring compliance with board directives as well as grantor, federal and state requirements. Since opening in 2009, SMCH has already expanded in order to better serve the people of Hays County.

Mr. Dyer joined the Seton Healthcare Family in 2006 as a vice president and project executive during which he coordinated architectural and general contractor planning and development of multi-year pro forma financials, as well as the early stages of physician, leader and associate recruitment. Among a myriad of substantive efforts led by Mr. Dyer was the successful consolidation and move of Seton's administrative functions to one site on the Mueller campus.

He is an executive with extensive experience in strategic planning, fiscal management and organizational operations. Mr. Dyer has held executive positions in several non-profit hospital systems. Prior to his coming to Austin, he was employed by the Health and Hospital Corporation of New York City as an Associate Executive Director.
