Greg Hartman oversees Seton’s partnership with the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas Southwest Affiliation Agreement, Seton residency programs, the Seton/UTSW Clinical Research Institute, Clinical Education Center & Research, Advocacy & Community Relations and systemwide Communications, Marketing & Brand Management.
Greg has been heavily involved in the creation of collaboration between Seton, The University of Texas at Austin, UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and the UT System to bring translational medical research and academic medicine to Austin.
Before joining Seton, Greg worked around the nation as a consultant for public affairs, communications, marketing, advertising and strategic planning. He was a managing director for Public Strategies, Inc., and previously a senior partner with MGT of America, a management consulting and research firm. He also served as executive assistant and director of Communications for former Texas State Comptroller John Sharp, and also worked for legislators in both the Texas Senate and House.
Additionally, for nearly two decades, he worked as a strategic consultant for several political campaigns, including campaigns for president, the U.S. Senate and numerous statewide campaigns.
