Debra T. Hernandez joined Seton in 2013 as chief nursing officer for the Central Group, bringing lengthy executive nursing experience in community and academic medicine settings. Before coming to Seton, she was with Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, Ga., where she served as senior vice president, Clinical Operations, and chief nurse executive. Prior to that, Debra was senior vice president, Patient Care Services, and chief nursing officer for the Stamford Health System. She also spent time at Duke University Health System's Durham Regional Hospital as chief nursing and patient care services officer. Debra received her Master of Health Administration from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina. Currently, she is working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Executive Leadership.
