Teaching Hospital News: Groundbreaking in 2014; Architect SelectedJune 18, 2013
Seton announced it plans to
start building a new teaching hospital to to replace UMC
Brackenridge in 2014 and complete it in 2017. The new
medical center will become the primary training facility for
the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.
Seton also announced that it selected the Dallas firm HKS
to be the lead architect for the project and will
raise $50 million via philanthropy to help fund
it.
