News Seton Cardiologist Puts a lot of Heart into His Music

Home > About Seton >

AUSTIN, Texas - (Feb. 26, 2013) - The two lives of Dr. Robert Mingea of the Seton Heart Institute are two blocks apart in downtown Lockhart. There's his cardiology office on San Antonio Street (he's the only cardiologist in all of Caldwell County). And across the street and to the north, there's an old brick building Mingea, also an accomplished musician, envisions as a destination music venue, like Gruene Hall in New Braunfels or Sengelmann Hall in Schulenburg.

A recent Austin American-Statesman profile of Dr. Mingea included a video of him playing keyboards and one of his favorite guitars.
