AUSTIN, Texas - (Dec. 21, 2012) - Humana Inc. has announced that members will now have in-network benefit access to the inpatient, outpatient and emergency services provided by Seton Medical Center Harker Heights.
The agreement includes covered access for members of Humana's commercial Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Point-of-Service (POS) and HumanaOne individual plans. Current members of a Humana Medicare Advantage PPO, HMO and Private-Fee-For-Service (PFFS) health plan also have benefit access. Eligible beneficiaries for Medicare who sign up for a Humana Medicare Advantage PPO, HMO or PFFS during the annual enrollment period will have in-network benefits during the 2013 plan year.
Seton Medical Center Harker
Heights is a full-service acute care
facility that opened in Harker Heights in June 2012 with more
than 300 employees. Among the services offered at the 83-bed
facility are emergency care, women's services, orthopedics,
cardiology and imaging and diagnostics. Seton Medical
Center Harker Heights, a joint venture between the Austin-based
Seton Healthcare Family and Plano-based LHP Hospital Group,
Inc., is located at 850 W. Central Texas
Expressway.
